Anushka Gift & Fancy Shop

Mansarovar is a big area, and Madhyam Marg is one of the busiest parts of it. We are located at 69/339, right where people go for their evening walks. The shop has been here for a few years now. We sell stuff like birthday cards, small toys, and fancy hair clips. There's always a bit of a mess behind the counter with all the ribbons and tape. I try to keep it organized but it’s hard when it gets busy. Kids from the local schools come in groups and they take a long time to pick out one small thing. I don't mind, they're just kids. We have some shelves that are a bit wobbly, so we don't put the heavy stuff there. The light inside is a little dim in the back corner, so I usually have to help people find things back there. It’s a family-run thing. My son sometimes helps with the stocking on his days off. We get our supplies from the main market once a week. Driving the van through the traffic is the hardest part. The shop itself is a calm place. We have a small stool outside where the old men from the neighborhood sit and talk sometimes. It feels like a part of the community. I keep a few spare light bulbs in the drawer because the ones we have seem to pop quite often for some reason.
