Anoop Moorti Art is right here in Chandpole Bazar. If you head down Bhindo Ka Rasta and get to the 5th crossing, you’ll see us. It is a bit dusty most days because we work with stone and marble. There is always someone chipping away at something or polishing a surface. This isn't a big factory or anything, just a local spot where we spend most of our time. Usually, the air smells like wet stone and tea. We have been in this area for a good while now. People walk by and peek in while we are busy. It’s a tight space with stuff everywhere. You might have to watch your step because of the tools lying around. We don’t really do fancy meetings. It’s mostly just us working and talking to whoever stops by. Sometimes the noise from the bazar gets loud, but we are used to it by now. The street outside is always moving. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. If you need to find the place, just look for the 5th crossing sign near the corner. It is a simple setup with a lot of heavy lifting. Most of the guys here have been doing this for years, so it's just habit. We open up early and stay until the light goes. It's not a glamorous job but it keeps us busy in the heart of the city.
