Anokhi Designs

We have been at E-409 in Lalkothi for a while now. Most days it is just us here working on different design ideas. The space isn't huge, but it fits what we need to get the job done. Sometimes it gets a bit messy with all the patterns and fabrics lying around, but that is just how we work. People find us easily enough once they get to the Lalkothi area. It is a busy spot, but our corner stays pretty focused. We don't really do the big flashy office thing. It is mostly about sitting down and looking at what needs to be finished by the end of the week. Sometimes we have tea and just talk about the next project. There are days when nothing seems to go right with a design, so we just start over. That is just how it is. It is a small team and we have known each other for a long time, so we do not need a lot of rules. We just show up and do the work. If you walk past E-409, you might hear us talking or see some boxes being moved. We aren't trying to be anything fancy. We just like making these designs and seeing them head out the door. It is a quiet life here most of the time, and we like it that way. No big speeches or anything, just a lot of coffee and work on the table. We keep the doors open when the weather is nice.
