Ambika Battery

If you’re looking for us, we’re over in the Chitrakoot Scheme in Vaishali Nagar. Ambika Battery has been sitting on this corner for quite some time. It’s a bit of a heavy job, moving these big lead-acid batteries around all day. Our clothes usually have a few small holes from the acid, but that’s just how it goes in this business. We handle batteries for cars, bikes, and those big inverters people use when the power cuts out. The shop smells a bit like metal and chemicals, which is normal for a battery place. We’ve got stacks of black boxes everywhere. It’s not a place where you’d want to wear your best clothes. Residents from all over Vaishali Nagar come to us because they know we’ve been here forever. We don't have a big sales pitch. If your car won't start, we test the battery and tell you if it needs a charge or if it’s completely dead. We do a lot of heavy lifting and sometimes our backs ache by the end of the day. The sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoon, making it pretty warm inside. We usually have a cold water jug nearby. It’s a simple, practical business. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just open the shop, help the people who come by with their power problems, and go home. That’s about it for Ambika Battery.
