You can find us at Mansarovar in the JDA Market, at shops 35 and 36. We have a bit more space since we have two units, but it still gets cluttered with all the phone boxes and repair tools. We spend a lot of our time working on mobile phones. People bring them in when they stop working or when the screen gets smashed after a fall. We have a small bench in the back with a bright light where we do the repairs. It can be fiddly work with those tiny screws that are easy to lose. The JDA Market is a decent place to be, and we see a lot of the same faces every week. We are not a big company, just a few of us who know a bit about technology. We started out small and stayed that way. Sometimes we have to order a part and wait for it to come on the bus or with a courier. We don't make promises we can't keep. If a phone is too broken to fix, we just say so. We drink our tea in the afternoon and watch the people go by in the market. It is a regular life. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just open the shutters in the morning and close them at night. It can get pretty busy during the festivals, but otherwise, it is just a steady flow of people looking for gadgets or help.
