You can find Agarwal Mobile Care in the basement of B-94 in Indira Bazar. Being in a basement means we don't get much natural light, but we have plenty of lamps on our workbenches. Indira Bazar is a very crowded market, so there is always a lot of noise from the street above. We focus on fixing mobile phones. Mostly it is cracked screens or batteries that won't charge anymore. The shop is small and the shelves are lined with boxes of spare parts. We use tiny screwdrivers and tweezers all day. It’s very detailed work. Sometimes a repair takes ten minutes, other times we are stuck on one phone for hours. We don't have a lot of space for customers to sit, so they usually leave their phones and come back later. The air can get a bit stuffy down here, but we have a fan going. We are just regular people trying to make a living in a busy market. We’ve seen all kinds of phones, from the old ones to the new ones. B-94 is easy to find if you know the basement entrance. We don't spend money on fancy decorations. We just want to get the phones working again. It’s a simple business in a very busy part of the city. We keep the shop open six days a week and usually take Sundays off to rest our eyes.
