You can find us over at Tonk Road Nand Colony. It’s a small shop called Aditya Mobile Point. Mostly, it’s just me and a couple of guys sitting behind the counter. We spend our days looking at screens, fixing broken charging ports, or trying to explain to someone why their phone won't turn on. The shop is small, so it gets crowded pretty quickly when more than three people walk in at once. We’ve got cases hanging on the walls and a bunch of tools scattered on the workbench in the back. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but we know where everything is. Tonk Road is always busy, so there’s a constant hum of engines outside our door. Sometimes we stay late to finish a repair because someone needs their phone back for work the next morning. We don’t have a big corporate manual or anything. We just try to figure out the problem and fix it. We see all kinds of people, from students to old folks who are confused by their new smartphones. It’s a bit repetitive, but it’s interesting to see how much people rely on these little plastic boxes. We don't charge an arm and a leg, just enough to keep the shop running and pay the rent. It’s a decent way to make a living, even if our eyes get tired from looking at tiny screws all day.
