Located at VKIA Road No 14, specifically S-21B, we handle a lot of phone-related stuff. The VKI area is mostly industrial, so we get a lot of workers coming in during their lunch breaks. Their phones often get dusty or the speakers stop working because of the environment they work in. We do our best to clean them out or swap the parts that are broken. It’s a small cabin-style setup, really. We’ve got a workbench in the back with all the tiny screwdrivers and magnifying glasses. There are usually a few SIM cards and recharge vouchers hanging near the glass. It’s not the kind of place where you sit down and have coffee. You come in, tell us what’s wrong with your device, and we tell you if it can be fixed by evening. Sometimes the parts take a day to arrive from the main city, so we have to ask people to wait. We don't use a lot of technical jargon. If the battery is dead, we just say it’s finished. The Sikar Road traffic can be a nightmare, so we try to get people on their way fast. We stay open late most nights because that’s when the shifts end and the shop gets busy. It's just simple work, helping people stay connected with their families. We started doing this because we liked taking things apart and seeing how they worked.
