Sri Lakshmi Chennakeshava Women Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are over in Nusthulapur, right there in the Karimnagar area at 2-100/B. It’s a group of us women who decided to get together for this farmer producer company. Sri Lakshmi Chennakeshava is the name we went with because it felt right for our community. Most of us here have been around farming our whole lives, so we know how it goes with the seasons and the crops. Some days are just busy with paperwork and others we are out seeing what the members need. It isn't a fancy office or anything like that, just a place where we can organize things and try to get better prices for what we grow. People stop by all the time to talk about the harvest or if they have trouble with their fields. We handle the collection of produce and try to figure out where it should go. It's a lot of work running a company when you also have your own land to look after, but we manage. Being in Nusthulapur means we are close to the main roads, which helps when trucks need to come in. We don't have a big marketing team or anything. It’s just us doing the daily tasks, keeping the books straight, and making sure the farmers get their fair share. It gets loud and crowded sometimes during the peak times, but that’s just how it is when everyone is working hard and trying to get things done together.
