Evan Hair Cutting Salon

Evan Hair Cutting Salon is on Garha Fatak Main Road in Jabalpur City. We are quite close to the Bhero Baba Temple, so we get a lot of people passing by on their way to pray. The main road is always loud with the sound of rickshaws and motorbikes passing by. The shop is small and has a blue front. Inside, it is mostly just the mirrors and the three chairs we have had since we first started. They are heavy metal chairs that do not move very easily. I spend most of my day standing on my feet, sweeping up hair and clipping away. The floor is tiled but some of the tiles are cracked from when we moved the furniture around many years ago. We have a small sink in the back for washing hair, but the tap drips a little if you do not turn it very tight. Most folks just come in for a quick trim or to get their beard lined up properly. We do not have a menu of services or anything like that on the wall. You just tell me what you want and I do it. Jabalpur can be very humid, so I keep a few hand fans around for the customers while they wait. The shop smells like aftershave and hair oil. We are not trying to be the most modern place. We just want to be a reliable spot.
