Chandi Herbal Beauty Parlour

Chandi Herbal Beauty Parlour is located right in the heart of Jabalpur. We’ve been operating here for a long time, focusing mostly on things like herbal face packs and traditional hair oils that we mix ourselves in the back room. The shop smells like dried neem leaves and rose water most of the time. It’s a bit of a trek for some people to get here, but the regulars don't seem to mind the trip. The building is nothing special, just a standard storefront with a heavy shutter we roll up every morning. We have a few mirrors that are starting to show their age, but they still work fine for showing a finished haircut. Jabalpur can be quite dusty, so we are constantly wiping down the counters and the chairs. We don't have a receptionist, so if we are busy with a client, the phone might just ring for a bit. It’s just how it goes in a small local business. We use a lot of local ingredients that we buy from the market nearby. The floor is made of old tiles that have been stepped on by thousands of people over the years. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights, just a simple board outside. Most of our work is done through word of mouth. People tell their neighbors about us, and that’s how we keep the lights on and the water running. It's a tiring job but we enjoy the daily gossip and seeing familiar faces return month after month.
