Aarchi Beauty Parlour

Our parlour is right in front of Sharda Talkies in Jabalpur City. It is a well-known spot because of the old cinema. You can often hear the sounds of the movies or the crowds when a big film is playing. We have been here for a while, seeing the city change around us. The shop is simple, with tiled floors and big mirrors that we have to wipe down every single morning to keep the dust off. We do a bit of everything, like cutting hair, doing henna, and threading. It is mostly women from the surrounding areas who come in. They like that they can just walk over from their homes. We do not have a big staff, usually just one or two of us helping out during the day. The chairs are old but still comfortable enough. We keep our supplies in plastic bins under the counters. It gets a bit hot during the summer months, but we have a cooler that helps. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to wait it out with the customers while we talk. People share stories about their families and work while they get their hair done. It feels more like a small community gathering than a business sometimes. We are not trying to win any awards here. We just want to make sure the work is done properly. When the movies let out, the street gets really crowded and noisy.
