Ashish Parlour

People usually find us here in Jabalpur when they need a quick trim or just a clean shave before going to work. My family started Ashish Parlour quite some time ago, and we’ve mostly just stayed in the same spot since then. It’s not a big fancy place with bright lights and loud music, but the chairs are comfortable enough and I try to keep the mirrors clean. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise when they are on high, but they keep the air moving during those hot summer afternoons we get here. I usually open up early because a lot of men like to get their hair sorted before the day really starts. We do basic stuff like cutting hair and beard trims. I don't use a lot of fancy products, just the usual creams and lotions that have worked for years. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded on Sundays, so people have to sit on the wooden bench outside for a bit. I try to talk to everyone who comes in, mostly about the weather or how things are going in the neighborhood. It’s just me and a couple of others working here. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the shop name on the front. If you are walking around this part of Jabalpur, you will probably see the door open. Most of our regulars have been coming here since they were kids. It’s just a normal shop for normal people.
