Ashok Cutting Salon

This shop is located near Aaga Chowk in Jabalpur City. We are right next to some timber shops and across from the Jabalpur Satna Transport office. It's a bit of a dusty area with all the trucks and wood being moved around, but we keep the inside of the salon as tidy as we can. Ashok Cutting Salon has been around for quite a few years. It's a very basic setup. We have a couple of chairs, some sharp tools, and a mirror that has a few spots on it. People who work in the transport business often stop by when they have a break. We also get the local guys from the neighborhood. It's a place where the talk is mostly about work or the traffic on the roads. We don't do any of that fancy styling you see on TV. We just cut hair the way people ask us to. Sometimes we do a head massage if someone is feeling particularly tired. The sink for washing hair is old but it works. It's a simple shop for simple needs. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in Jabalpur, just a reliable one where you know what you are going to get. The light from the street is quite bright in the mornings. Sometimes the smell of fresh cut wood drifts in from next door. It’s just a normal day here.
