Us Wear

Our place is at number 229 on the ground floor, right near the Rajwada area. If you’ve ever walked around there, you know how crowded it gets with all the shoppers and the narrow lanes. We are right in the middle of all that noise and energy. The shop itself is packed with clothes, and sometimes it feels like there’s barely enough room to walk between the stacks. We spend a lot of time just folding things and putting them back on the shelves after people look through them. It’s a small space, so we have to be smart about where we put the new stock when it arrives. There’s no big sign or flashing lights, just our door and the clothes inside. Usually, we have the radio on or just listen to the shouting from the street vendors outside. It’s a ground floor spot, which makes it easy for people to just duck in and see what we have. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, and we just wait it out with the door open for some light. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us who know where everything is. It’s honest work, and we see all kinds of people coming through Rajwada. It’s a bit messy sometimes, especially on Saturdays when everyone is out, but that is just how Us Wear operates in this part of town. We just keep the clothes moving and stay busy until closing time.
