Jyoti Overseas

Our office for Jyoti Overseas is located at 10-11/13 on Y N Road. It’s a solid old building that has seen a lot of people come and go over the years. We’ve taken up our spot here and made it our own. The entrance is a bit narrow, and you have to watch your step on the stairs. Once you’re inside, it’s mostly just rows of filing cabinets and a few sturdy wooden desks. We handle a lot of paperwork here, so there is always the sound of a stapler or a printer going off somewhere. The staff at Jyoti Overseas is a small group. We know each other's coffee orders and who likes to keep the window open. Y N Road stays pretty busy, so there is a constant background noise of traffic that we’ve all just learned to ignore. We don’t have any of those modern open-plan layouts. Everyone has their own corner where they can focus. Sometimes the internet acts up, and we all take a break together until it’s back. It’s a practical way of working. We don't spend money on expensive art for the walls or fancy lobby furniture. The focus is always on the logs and the records we keep. It’s a bit old-fashioned, maybe, but it works for us and the people we deal with every day. We just stay here and keep the business moving through the stacks of files.
