Meherban Threads

Meherban Threads is located at No.60 in Sindhu Nagar, over in the Chandpur area. We have a lot of stuff packed into this space, mostly rows and rows of different colored threads. It is a bit overwhelming if you aren't used to it, seeing all those spools stacked up to the ceiling. We spend a lot of our time helping people match a specific shade of blue or red to a piece of cloth they brought in. Sometimes the lighting makes it tricky, so we have to take the spools to the door to see them in the natural sun. The shop has that specific smell of textiles and dust that you get with this kind of work. We aren't a big operation, just a local spot where people come when they are sewing something or running a small tailoring business. The floor is often covered in little bits of lint and loose ends that we sweep up at the end of the day. It is a quiet life in Sindhu Nagar for the most part. We have an old counter that has been scratched up over the years from dragging boxes across it. We don't really do much else besides keep the stock organized and wait for the next customer to walk in with a needlework problem to solve. It is just what we do here.
