Universal Steel Products

We are located at number 137 in the G.N.T. Market on Dhar Road. This market is a real hub for metal and construction stuff, so there are always trucks idling and people shouting to be heard over the engines. Our shop is pretty basic. We have stacks of steel products like bars and sheets everywhere. It isn't a place where you'd want to wear your nice clothes because there is always a bit of rust or dust that gets on everything. We have been here for a good while and we know the other shop owners around us. Most of the time, we are busy loading up orders for local contractors or people working on their own houses. We use a lot of manual labor to move things around, so everyone here is pretty tired by the end of the shift. The office is just a small desk in the corner with a phone and some old ledgers. We don't use computers for much, we prefer writing things down. The heat in the summer makes the metal really hot to touch, so we have to use thick gloves. It’s not an easy job, but it’s what we know how to do. We don't make big claims about being the best or anything. We just try to have the steel people need when they show up. It’s a busy, dusty life here on Dhar Road, and we are just glad to be part of the market.
