Indian Steel Corp. Ltd. is based at 108, Marathi Mohalla in the Sadar Bazar area of Indore. If you have ever been to Sadar Bazar, you know it is one of the busiest places in the city. There is always a lot of shouting and the sound of bells and horns. Our office is tucked away in Marathi Mohalla. It is an older building and it has a lot of character, though it could probably use a fresh coat of paint. We have been here for a long time. Dealing with steel in such a tight space can be tricky, especially when things need to be moved around. Inside, it is just a bunch of desks and stacks of folders. We don't have a fancy reception area. If you come in, you just find someone sitting at a desk and talk to them. The streets around us are narrow, and sometimes it is hard for even a small vehicle to get through. But that is just how it is in this part of Indore. We like being in the middle of all that energy. You see the same faces every day and it feels like a real community. We aren't trying to be anything special. We are just a local business doing what we know how to do. It’s a bit dusty and loud, but it is where we work.
