Vijay Iron Steel Foundry

Vijay Iron Steel Foundry is at No. 47 Main Abhinandan Nagar. It’s a loud place, as you might expect with iron and steel. There is always the smell of hot metal and the sound of machines running. We’ve got a big workshop area where most of the work happens. It stays pretty warm in there even during the winter. We don’t have a fancy front office; it’s mostly just space for the foundry work. Abhinandan Nagar is an industrial kind of area, so we fit right in with the neighbors. We have a few guys who have been with us since the beginning. They know exactly how the molds should look and when the metal is ready. We deal with a lot of heavy parts and raw materials. It’s a dirty job, and we all go home covered in soot at the end of the shift. We don’t spend much time on the computer; most of our work is done with our hands and the equipment. We’ve had some of the same machines for decades, and they still work just fine if you treat them right. We don’t have a big corporate structure. We just take the orders, make the parts, and get them loaded onto the trucks. It’s a simple business but it takes a lot of hard work. We stay focused on the tasks in front of us every day. That is just how the foundry operates and we like the routine.
