Indian Steel Ltd

Our office is located at 119-A in the Brijashwari Extension, right on Bicholi Mardana Road. It’s a decent spot in Indore, not too far from the main action but quiet enough to actually get some work done. We are just a regular steel company trying to stay on top of our daily lists. The building is a standard one, nothing that would make you stop and stare. Inside, we have our desks pushed together and a few fans that hum all day long. We deal with a lot of paperwork because the steel business involves a lot of tracking and documentation. It’s not glamorous work. Most days involve a lot of typing and even more phone calls to find out where a certain truck has gotten to. We don't have any mission statements on the walls. Instead, we have maps and some old photos of past projects. We like to keep things simple and honest. If a shipment is late, we just tell people it’s late. There’s no point in making up excuses. We’ve built up a bit of a routine over the years here in Indore. We know the local shops for lunch and the best time to avoid the worst of the road noise. It’s just a group of us working hard and trying to make sure the numbers add up at the end of the month. We don't ask for much more than a steady workflow and a decent cup of tea.
