Taneja Iron & Steel Co.

We are located at 315 Transport Nagar. If you know this area, you know it’s mostly just big trucks and lots of dust. Taneja Iron & Steel Co. has been operating out of this plot for some time. There’s a lot of heavy lifting involved here. We have stacks of iron and steel bars everywhere, so you have to be careful where you walk. It’s not a showroom or anything like that; it’s just a yard where we move materials. The sun hits the metal and makes it hot in the afternoons, so we try to get the heavy stuff moved in the morning. Being in Transport Nagar means there’s always someone coming or going with a delivery. It can get a bit chaotic when three trucks try to turn at once on our street. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls. It’s just bricks, some old desks, and a lot of heavy metal. My clothes are usually stained with rust by the end of the day, but that’s the job. People come here because they need steel, and we have it. We don't spend much time on the phone unless it’s about a load coming in. It’s a plain, simple way of doing business, and we like it that way. Just regular work in a regular industrial part of the city.
