Style Check

Style Check is over in Saket Nagar, right on the main road at E-39. Being on the main road means we see a lot of people passing by every day. Indore is a busy city, and this area is no exception. We’ve been here for a while now. The shop isn't very big, but we make use of every inch we have. We have a few chairs and some mirrors along the wall. The floor is a simple tile that we sweep constantly. It’s funny how much dust gets in from the street. We usually start the day by opening the shutters and letting some air in. Our regulars are mostly people who live within walking distance. They stop by on their way home from work or on their day off. We don't have a fancy waiting area, just a couple of stools and some old magazines. The walls are a neutral color because we didn't want anything too bright. We focus on the basics. Sometimes the water pressure is a bit low, so we have to manage that, but it's just part of being in an older neighborhood. We do our best to stay organized. The shelves are filled with bottles and jars we use daily. It’s a simple life here. We chat with the customers about the weather or local news while we work. It’s a steady pace. No rush, just getting things done. We close up around the same time every evening when the street lamps start to flicker on.
