Srajati Farmers Producer Company Limited

Srajati Farmers Producer Company Limited operates out of Jawar, near Ashta. We are located at the house of Sudeep Singh and Khuman Singh. It’s a basic setup because we spend most of our time out in the fields anyway. Being a farmer producer company, our main job is to bring together the folks growing crops around Ashta. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just have our names and this small office space where we keep the ledger books. Jawar is a small place, and everyone knows everyone. We started this because it’s better to work as a group than to try and do everything alone. We deal with whatever is in season, mostly grains and legumes that grow well in this soil. Usually, someone is at the office to answer the phone or talk to a member, but it's not a nine-to-five kind of place. Work happens when it needs to happen. If the rain is coming, we are busy. If it’s harvest time, nobody is in the office. It’s a very practical way of living and working. We are just trying to help the local farming community get their products to market without too much trouble. It’s honest work, and we are proud to be part of the Jawar and Ashta area. There's always something to do with the land and we just handle the business side of it from the house while keeping things as simple as possible.
