You can find us on the second floor of the Goyal Market. We are located at 38 Warehouse Road, which is exactly as busy as it sounds. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep, and if you’re carrying anything heavy, you’ll definitely feel it. Our space is more of a hub for our farming business than an actual farm. We have desks covered in order forms and samples of whatever we are growing or selling at the time. The market downstairs is always noisy with people shouting and carts rattling over the stones. Up here, it’s a bit quieter, but the smell of the warehouse road—a mix of diesel and dry goods—still finds its way in. We spend our time talking to suppliers and making sure the logistics for the farm are actually working. The walls are mostly bare except for some maps and a few faded photos. It’s not the most modern office, but it serves its purpose. We drink a lot of tea while looking over the ledgers. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the window, so we keep a bucket there just in case. It’s a practical place for people who aren't afraid of a little dirt or a long day of planning. We stay until the market starts to quiet down, then we lock up the shutters and head out.
