Sonu Steel is located right in New Law Mandi, over by Dewas Naka. If you find the Ganesh Temple, you’re basically there. It’s a busy part of town, always trucks coming in and out with loads of metal. We deal with a lot of steel, mostly just the heavy stuff that builders and local shops need. Our yard isn’t the tidiest place, but we know exactly where everything is stacked. There’s a lot of dust from the road and the noise of metal clanging together is just part of the daily routine. We don't have a team of sales people in suits. It’s just us in our work boots, checking the inventory and making sure the loading goes okay. Some days are slower when the rain hits, but usually, there’s someone coming by looking for specific lengths or grades of steel. We try to keep a good stock of the common sizes so nobody has to wait too long. It’s a straightforward business. We buy the steel, we stack it, and we sell it to whoever needs it for their project. Dealing with the traffic around Dewas Naka can be a headache, especially in the afternoons, but being near the temple is a good landmark for people who haven't visited us before. We just focus on the inventory and getting the orders out the door without making a big fuss about things. It's a bit of a mess sometimes, but the steel is good.
