Shri Sai Steels

Our yard is located at Plot No. 28-C in Sector-C of the Sanwer Road Industrial Area. It is a gritty place, as you might expect for a steel business. There is always the sound of metal clanging or cranes moving heavy things around the lot. We have been operating from this plot for quite a while now, and the ground is pretty much covered in scrap and heavy beams most of the time. The office is just a small cabin at the corner of the lot where we keep the records and try to stay out of the sun during the afternoon. It is usually quite loud, so we have to speak up to be heard over the machinery and the trucks. Sanwer Road is always full of vehicles, and sometimes it takes forever just to get one truck out of the gate and onto the main road. We do not have a marketing department or anything like that. We just have a bunch of guys who know how to handle steel and a couple of us who manage the sales and the books. Most days are spent checking weights and making sure the right grades are being loaded onto the trailers. It is tiring work, and by the time we close up the gates, we are usually covered in a bit of grime. But it is steady work, and we like the rhythm of the industrial area. We just focus on getting the steel where it needs to go.
