Shobha Dresses

Shobha Dresses is located at 7 Shakkar Bazar. If you know the bazar, you know it is a tight squeeze. The streets are narrow and always full of shoppers and carts. We have a small storefront that we have had for years. It’s an old building, and the stairs are a bit steep. We have clothes everywhere. Racks and piles and boxes. It’s a bit chaotic, but we have a system for finding what we need. Shakkar Bazar is a famous place, and we are glad to be a small part of it. The mornings are the best time here before it gets too hot and crowded. We sweep the front of the shop every day, even though the dust comes back five minutes later. That is just how it is in this part of town. We don't use fancy labels or expensive displays. The clothes speak for themselves. People come in and look through the piles. Sometimes they stay for a long time. We don't mind. We aren't pushy. We just let people browse. It is a family thing, really. We’ve all spent a lot of time behind the counter here. The ceiling is a bit low, and the paint is peeling in the corners. We haven't gotten around to fixing that yet. We are too busy with the daily work. It’s a good life at number 7. We like the noise and the people. It makes the day go by faster than if we were somewhere quiet.
