Roman Steel & Hardware

Roman Steel & Hardware is located at Plot No. 6, South Hathipala. We’re right near the Saify Hotel, which is a pretty well-known spot around here. This shop isn't anything fancy to look at. It’s just a place where we keep our stock of steel rods, hardware tools, and various building materials. I spend most of my day sitting at the wooden desk near the front, waiting for customers or checking on what we need to reorder. The area can get quite noisy with the traffic and the hotel guests coming and going. Sometimes it’s a bit of a struggle to keep the dust off the shelves because of all the metal work happening nearby. We don't have a big team, just me and a couple of guys who help with the heavy lifting and loading the trucks. If someone comes in looking for a specific bolt or a piece of pipe, we usually have to dig through the back to find it. It’s a bit disorganized at times, I’ll admit that. But we’ve been here for years and the locals know where to find us. We don’t bother with advertisements or anything like that. People just walk in when they need something fixed or built. It’s a simple way to make a living, and it keeps us busy enough throughout the week. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down. It's just a normal shop.
