Regal Iron & Steel

You can find us at number 38 in the Kibe Compound. It is a bit of an older area, but it suits us just fine for what we do. Dealing with iron and steel means things are often heavy and a bit loud, so being in a compound like this works out. The walls have seen a lot of years, and the floor is usually covered in bits of metal or dust from the various pieces we handle. It is a very hands-on kind of place. We don’t have a lot of corporate polish here; it’s more about the actual material and getting it out to whoever needs it. Some mornings are cold when we first open up, and the metal feels like ice. By the afternoon, it is usually humming with the sound of work. We’ve got a small group of guys who have been here for a long time. We know the layout of the compound like the back of our hands. People come in looking for specific sizes or types of steel, and we just go find it for them. It is honest work and it keeps us busy. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we have to. Most of the time, we are out there moving things around. That is just how life is at Regal Iron & Steel. We don't change much around here, we just keep the metal moving from one pile to the next as the orders come in.
