Parihar Travels

You can find us on Jail Road, which is definitely one of the most crowded parts of Indore. We are on the first floor of the Photographer Complex, right at number 12. The road is actually called Devi Ahinha Marg on the maps, but everyone just calls it Jail Road. At Parihar Travels, we see a lot of different people every single day. Since we are in a complex with photographers and other types of shops, there is always a lot of foot traffic. Getting up to the first floor is sometimes a bit of a climb if the stairs are crowded with people. Our office has a view of the street, so we see all the chaos of the market down below. It is a good place to be if you like being right in the middle of things. We handle a lot of bookings and travel arrangements for local families who want to go on holiday. Most of our work is done over the phone or just talking to people who walk in off the street. It is not a quiet job at all. There is always the sound of traffic and people shouting to each other outside. We have a couple of old desks and some wooden benches for people to wait on. We have been here for a long time, so we know most of the other shop owners in the complex. It is a tight-knit community.
