Boat Club

We spend most of our days down here at the Regional Park near Pipliapala Square. It is usually pretty busy, especially when the weather stays nice and people want to get out on the water. The Boat Club has been around this part of Indore for a while now. Most mornings start with checking the boats and making sure everything is sitting right at the dock. You see a lot of families walking around the park, and some of them decide to stop by and spend some time on the lake. It is a simple kind of job, mostly just talking to people and keeping things moving. The square can get loud with traffic, but once you are by the water, things quiet down a bit. We have different types of boats docked here, and we just keep them ready for whoever shows up. Sometimes it gets a bit hectic on weekends when the crowd from the city spills into the park. We don't really do anything fancy. It is just about being here and letting people enjoy the lake for a bit. The sun reflects off the water in the afternoons, and that is probably the best part of being stationed at this spot. We keep our gear in the small shed and wait for the next group to come along. It is a steady rhythm of life here at the park and we just take it as it comes.
