Half Ticket Apparels

We are located at 192 in the Ready Made Garments Complex over in Pardeshipura. It’s a big industrial area, so there are always trucks moving and people hauling boxes. Half Ticket Apparels is just one of many spots here, but we stay busy with our own work. The sound of sewing machines is the main thing you hear all day long. It’s a constant rhythmic noise that you eventually stop noticing. Our space is filled with fabric scraps and thread. It’s not exactly tidy, but we know where everything is kept. We spend most of the day cutting and stitching. The lighting is bright so we can see what we are doing, but it gets pretty warm under the lamps. We don’t have a big sales team or anything like that. We just focus on the garments that are sitting on the tables. Pardeshipura isn't a place for fancy showrooms. It’s a place where things are actually made. We take our breaks together and talk about whatever is going on in the neighborhood. The elevators in the complex are usually slow, so we end up taking the stairs a lot. It’s just the daily routine for us. We get the orders in, we do the stitching, and we send them out. It’s simple and it keeps the lights on. It can be a little dusty and loud, but that is just how the garment business works in this part of town.
