Mammas Beverages

We started Mammas Beverages here at Plot No. 81 in Dwarika Puri because we wanted to do something for ourselves. It’s right on Ahir Khedi Road, not far from the Hawa Bungalow. Most days it’s just us working through the inventory and making sure the bottles are clean and ready. It gets pretty hot in this part of town, so people are always looking for something cold to drink. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. It’s mostly just crates and the sound of the fridge running in the back. Sometimes the delivery truck gets stuck in traffic near the main road, which throws off our whole afternoon schedule. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the neighbors who walk past. There's a lot of dust from the road sometimes, so we spend half the morning just wiping things down. My cousin helps out when it gets busy, but usually, it’s a quiet operation. We don’t really do much advertising. People just know we are here because of the sign. We keep things simple because that’s all we really know how to do. Sometimes we run out of certain items faster than we expected, and then we have to scramble to get more. It’s just how it goes when you’re running a small place like this. We try to keep the floors swept, but with the kids running in and out, it's a bit of a losing battle most of the time.
