Our unit is located inside the S.R.I. Compound, which is right near Muktidham in the Lasudiya Mori area. If you’re familiar with Dewas Naka, you know it’s a hub for all sorts of manufacturing and storage. The compound is always buzzing with activity, mostly from trucks and tempos loading up. Our spot is pretty functional. There’s a lot of corrugated metal and concrete, and it gets quite dusty with all the traffic passing by. We don’t have an air-conditioned lobby or a receptionist to greet you. Usually, one of us will just look up from whatever we’re doing if someone walks in. The workspace is filled with the sounds of crates moving and people shouting to be heard over the noise. It’s honest work, and we’ve been doing it from this same location for quite some time now. We drink a lot of chai from the vendor who comes around twice a day. The office part is just a small cabin partitioned off from the main floor, filled with ledgers and old files. We don’t worry much about how the place looks as long as the orders are going out on time. It’s a busy, messy, and loud environment, but it’s where we feel most productive. We just take things one day at a time and try to keep everything running smoothly. There's always something to fix or move around.
