Shri Vijaykrishna Beverages

Shri Vijaykrishna Beverages is over at 37, Siyaganj. If you know the area, you know it is a place where there is always a lot of loading and unloading happening. Our space is tucked in among the others and it is filled with crates and bottles most of the time. The floor is concrete and stays relatively cool even when the sun is beating down on the street outside. We have a small desk near the front where the phone sits and where we keep track of what is coming in and going out. It can get pretty loud with the sounds of the market right on our doorstep. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls, just the stuff we need to get the job done every day. Sometimes the delivery guys come in for a quick break and sit on the crates for a minute. We deal with beverages, so there is always a bit of a sweet smell in the air and maybe some sticky patches on the floor if someone wasn't careful with a case. It is honest work and we have been doing it from this same spot in Siyaganj for quite a while. The neighbors are mostly doing the same kind of thing so we all understand the rush of the morning hours. When the day winds down, we pull the shutters and head out into the evening crowd. It’s just the way things go here at number 37.
