G & G Clothing

G & G Clothing is tucked away in Mahalaxmi Nagar. We don’t have a massive warehouse, just a plain space where we handle all our clothing work. It’s a local neighborhood, so everyone kind of knows everyone else. We like being part of the community here. The work involves a lot of hands-on labor, from checking the fabric to packing up the finished clothes. It gets noisy when all the machines are going at once, but we've gotten used to it over the years. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our jobs and go home to our families at the end of the day. The building we are in is nothing special to look at, but it’s sturdy and keeps the rain out. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just how things go. We keep a pot of tea going most of the day. If you ever drop by, you'll probably see us surrounded by stacks of shirts or pants. We don't have a receptionist, so you might have to shout a bit to get our attention over the noise. It’s a real working environment, not a showroom. We take pride in just getting the orders out on time. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, which is sewing and finishing garments. We stay late when we have to.
