Khetal Steel

Our place, Khetal Steel, is located at Plot No. 142 on Sanwer Road. If you know where Ganesh Dham Colony is, we’re right in that area. It’s pretty easy to find since we are quite close to the Ganga Bridge. The traffic around here can get a bit much during the day, especially with all the trucks moving around Sanwer Road. We’ve been operating from this spot for a while now. It’s basically just a yard and a small shed where we keep everything. There isn't much to look at, just a lot of steel and some old machinery we use. We start pretty early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. Usually, the gates are open by seven. It gets dusty because of the road, but we don't mind it much. We deal with different types of steel products and just try to keep things moving. Sometimes the stacks get a bit high and we have to reorganize the whole plot to make room for new stuff coming in. It’s a lot of physical work, loading and unloading. We don't have any fancy sales people or a front desk. If you come by, you’ll usually find one of us near the back or checking the inventory. We’ve stayed in Ganesh Dham Colony because it's a good location for getting materials in and out. The bridge is a good landmark for people who haven't been here before. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a simple life but it keeps us busy.
