Our shop is located at H.N. 1174/30, right across from the Om Petrol pump in Vijay Nagar. It’s a spot that people pass by all the time when they’re stopping for fuel. Joker Cake And Gifts Private Limited is what we do here. We spend our days around cakes and various gift items. It’s a nice kind of business to be in, though it gets quite stressful when a big holiday is coming up. We aren’t some massive factory or a big chain. It’s more of a local operation where we actually get to see the people who are buying our things. Vijay Nagar is a good neighborhood for us. we see a lot of the same faces every week. We try to keep things very down to earth. There isn’t a corporate manual here telling us how to talk to our neighbors. We just talk like normal people. Sometimes the shop gets a bit cluttered with cardboard boxes and wrapping paper, but that’s just how it goes when we are busy. We focus on getting the cakes out and making sure the gifts look alright. It is a lot of manual work, to be honest. People sometimes think it’s all fun, but there is a lot of cleaning and heavy lifting involved too. We’ve been at this address for a while and we like it here. Being opposite the petrol pump is an easy landmark. We just keep doing our thing.
