Indian Steel Corporation

Indian Steel Corporation is based in Indore, at 503 Mahakosh House. We’re in South Tukoganj, which is a pretty central area. The building is one of those well-known spots in the neighborhood. Our office isn’t huge, but it fits us just right. We’ve got stacks of paper everywhere because we still like to keep physical records of everything. Dealing with steel means a lot of numbers and a lot of logistics. We spend our time talking to mills and coordinating with transport companies. It’s a lot of "is the truck there yet?" and "why is the weight off?" type of conversations. The office has a bit of an old-school feel to it. We have a few plants near the windows that someone remembers to water once a week. The street outside is usually lively, with plenty of places to grab a quick samosa or tea. We’ve been here for a long time, and the staff is like a small family. We know everyone's quirks and who makes the best tea in the office. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment, just a steady place where we get the job done. We don't have fancy mission statements on the walls. We just come in, do our work, and head home to our families. It’s a solid way to make a living and we’re happy with how things are.
