Our place is on the second floor of the B. M. Complex, right at No. 2 Imli Bazar. It's a busy area, especially being so close to Hanuman Plaza. You have to climb a couple of flights of stairs to get to us, but it’s worth it once you see the stock we have. The bazaar is always loud and full of life, which we’ve gotten used to over the years. Inside the complex, it’s a bit quieter, which helps us focus on our apparel work. We have rows of shelves filled with different items. It’s not a very big space, so we have to be careful about where we put things so we don't trip over boxes. We spend a lot of time counting inventory and checking the quality of the clothes that come in. It’s just a few of us running the show. We don’t have a big HR department or anything like that. If there’s a problem, we just talk it out and fix it ourselves. The lunch break is usually the best part of the day when we get some food from the stalls downstairs in the bazaar. It’s a very basic way to run a business, but it works for us. We’ve been in this spot for a long time and know all the other shop owners in the building. It’s a tight community here. We just keep our heads down and get the work done.
