Ibex Fashions Private Limited

Ibex Fashions Private Limited is based out of Ambedkar Nagar in Indore. Our place is at 267 Ambedkar Nagar, right in Nanda Nagar. It’s a crowded area and the noise from the street usually comes right through the thin windows. We spend most of our mornings moving heavy boxes and checking on the stitch work. There isn’t much space left in the workspace because of all the fabric rolls leaning against the walls. We have been here for a while now and the locals know us. Some days it gets really hot, especially in the afternoons, so we keep the old fans running constantly. It’s not a fancy setup at all. We have a few old desks and a lot of thread everywhere. People from around the neighborhood stop by sometimes just to see what we are making. We try to keep things simple and honest here. Most of the time, we are just worried about getting the next batch of clothes ready for the trucks. It’s a lot of manual work and our hands usually have some ink or thread marks by the end of the shift. We don’t really do big meetings or anything like that. We just talk over tea in the back and figure out what needs to be done. Sometimes the electricity cuts out and we just sit and wait for it to come back. That’s just how it is in Indore. We’ve grown a bit, but it still feels like the same workshop.
