Happy Tour And Travels

We are located right at the front, Shop No 1 in Prakash Avenue. It’s on Veer Sawarkar Road in the Khatiwala Tank area. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to just pop in. Elevators or long stairs are something we don't have to deal with. The area is mostly residential, so we see a lot of the same faces. Happy Tour And Travels is a small operation. It’s mostly just a counter, some cupboards for files, and our desks. A few maps are on the wall, though they are getting a bit old now. The traffic on Veer Sawarkar Road is pretty constant. You get used to the sound of scooters after a while. Most days are spent looking at routes and prices. It’s not always exciting, but it’s the work we do. Plenty of chai is drunk throughout the day. People come in to ask about bus timings or car rentals. Keeping a ledger for everything is necessary because sometimes the computer is a bit moody. The shop stays open until late evening. It’s a neighborhood business, really. We’ve known some of our customers for years. They come to us because we are close by and they know where to find us. It’s a basic office, nothing fancy or decorated. Sorting out travel stuff is just what we do here.
