Gopal Ji Travels

Our shop is number 22, right in the Rajwada area of Indore. If you know where Peer Gali Dargaha is, then finding us is pretty easy because we are very close to it. Rajwada is always crowded, especially in the afternoons, so there is always noise and people moving about outside our door. We spend most of our time here at the desk answering phones or talking to people who walk in wanting to go somewhere. It’s a small place, nothing too special to look at, just some chairs for people to sit while we figure out their travel routes. Being at Indore 452002 means we get all sorts of travelers, from families going on a pilgrimage to students heading back home. We keep a stack of timetables and registers on the desk to keep track of everything. The tea here is good because of the local stalls nearby, and that helps us get through the long afternoons. We don't do much advertising; mostly it's just people telling their neighbors about where they got their tickets. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to tell people to wait a bit, but they usually don't mind too much. We’ve been in this spot for a while and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it works for what we do. Just come to Rajwada and ask for Shop 22 near the Dargaha. We are here most days from morning to night, just working through the bookings one by one.
