You can find us at number 142 in Tilak Nagar, just a short walk from the post office. It’s a noisy shop, I’ll give you that. Between the cutting and the welding, there isn't much silence during the day. We work with iron and steel, making gates, window grills, and whatever else people need for their houses. The floor is concrete and always has some bits of scrap metal lying around. We keep the big doors open for ventilation because it gets quite hot when the torches are going. The neighbors don't seem to mind the racket too much since we've been here so long. We aren't doing any high-end design work; it’s mostly practical stuff that needs to be sturdy. Sometimes we have to go out to measure a site, which is a nice break from the workshop. My hands are usually stained with soot or oil, and that’s just how it goes in this trade. We don't have a website or a fancy catalog. Most people just walk in because they saw our sign or a neighbor told them about us. We use old machines that still work perfectly fine if you treat them right. It’s a basic setup, really. Just some workbenches, a few grinders, and the welding kits. We take our time to make sure the joints are solid before anything leaves the shop. Usually, there is a stray cat that hangs around the entrance.
