Dhanalakshmi Traders

We are located in Venus Tower on Jail Road. It’s unit 108, which isn't the biggest office, but it serves us well enough for the trading we do. Jail Road is always a busy place with plenty of people moving around, so there’s always something to see out the window. Dhanalakshmi Traders has been around for a bit, and we mostly deal with buying and selling goods that local shops need. We don't actually make anything here; we just handle the middle part of the business. Our days are filled with making phone calls to vendors and writing out invoices. The office is usually cluttered with samples and folders, but we know where everything is. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of deliveries coming in at once. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything. It’s just us trying to keep the business moving. Sometimes we stay late to finish the accounts, and other times we close up a bit early if things are slow. We don’t have any slick marketing or a team of salespeople. People just find us through connections or by seeing the sign. We just focus on being fair with our prices and getting the goods where they need to go. It’s a practical way to earn a living, and it feels good to be part of the local trade scene on Jail Road. It’s simple work but it suits us.
