You can find Arvind Steel Furniture at Plot 62 on Jawahar Marg in the South Toda area. We are right across from the Sanjay Satu landmark, which makes it easier for people to find the shop. We handle steel furniture, so the space is filled with cabinets, chairs, and desks made of metal. It can get quite loud inside when we are moving the heavier pieces around the floor. We don’t have a separate showroom, so everything we have is just out there for people to see. There’s usually a bit of a smell of fresh paint or metal, depending on what we’ve been working on that day. The floor is mostly concrete and we have a small desk near the entrance where we sit to talk to customers. It’s a very busy road outside, so there’s a constant hum of engines and horns. We’ve been here for years and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit around us. Our building is simple and functional, which is all we really need for this kind of work. We spend our time showing people the different types of cupboards we have or taking measurements for custom orders. It’s a local business run by people who know their way around a welder. We don’t go for anything fancy; we just provide solid furniture that lasts a long time for the local community.
