Ankur Steel

Ankur Steel is situated at Plot No. 310/4/2, right by Tejaji Chowk on Pather Mundla Road in Palda. This is a big industrial patch of the city, so it’s always dusty and full of heavy trucks moving back and forth. We deal mostly in steel bars, sheets, and other raw materials that builders need for construction projects around here. The yard is usually quite messy with piles of metal everywhere, but we know where everything is kept. It’s hard work, involving a lot of lifting and moving heavy loads throughout the day. We don't have a fancy showroom or a bunch of suits walking around. It’s just us in our work clothes, dealing with contractors and truck drivers who need to get their materials and get back to their sites. The sun can get really hot out here in the yard during the summer, but we just keep the water cold and keep working. We’ve been at this location for a while now, and we’ve seen Palda grow quite a bit. People come to us because we are right on the main road and easy to get to with a large vehicle. We don't do much in terms of advertising; most of our business comes from people who see our stacks of steel while driving past Tejaji Chowk. It’s straightforward, heavy work, but it’s what we know how to do best.
