Akshay Garments

You can find Akshay Garments right in the middle of Khajuri Bazar. It’s a lively spot, especially being so close to the Yashoda Mata Mandir. You can often hear the temple bells ringing while we are working, which is a nice background sound to have during the day. The bazar itself is always moving with people looking for deals and vendors shouting out their prices. Our place at number 12 is pretty simple. We don't have big glass windows or mannequins dressed in the latest styles. We mostly just focus on having enough stock for whoever walks through the door. The building is older, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it serves its purpose for us. We spend a lot of time counting inventory and making sure the bundles are tied up right. It gets crowded in the shop when a new shipment arrives and we have to move things around to make space. My family has been around this area for a long time, so we know the neighbors well. We usually share a quick greeting when the tea seller comes around in the morning. Life in Khajuri Bazar is fast, but we’ve found our own rhythm here. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just selling clothes and keeping the business going year after year. It's a humble setup, but it's ours and we are at the shop every day rain or shine.
