Akshay Garments

I run Akshay Garments, which is situated on the Naya Pura Main Road in the Siyaganj area. If you know Siyaganj, you know how busy it gets with all the traders and shoppers moving around. My shop is right there in the thick of it. I’ve got stacks of different clothes everywhere, and the shelves are usually pretty full. It’s a lot of work keeping things tidy, especially when the shop gets crowded in the evenings. I don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us helping people find what they need and making sure the billing gets done right. The main road is always noisy with traffic, but you get used to it after a while. I spend most of my day standing behind the counter or moving boxes around when new deliveries arrive from the suppliers. We don't have any air conditioning, just a few ceiling fans that do their best during the hotter months. It’s a humble place, honestly. I don't use any fancy marketing tricks or big posters to get people inside. People usually come in because they were walking past or because their neighbors told them about us. It’s just a straightforward clothing business. I like being my own boss, even if it means working long hours and dealing with the dust from the main road. It’s what I’ve been doing for years, and I don't plan on changing much. It works for me and the regulars.
